The first note that Jenks sends reads: "Dear Mr. Winter: - The enclosed letter is a duplicate copy of one which I addressed to you some months ago. I am sending this second lettter because I am doubtful whether or not you received the first." Jenks requests testimonials about St. Nicholas [magazine]. On letterhead of The Century Co Publishers, 353 Fourth Ave at 26th St, New York. With accompanying envelope addressed to Winter.
